How to Modify a Customer’s Cart Using Apptile Cart Assist

Apptile Cart Assist allows you to edit a customer’s cart directly from your Shopify admin—helping you support shoppers during live selling, customer support conversations, or troubleshooting sessions.

Follow the steps below to connect the integration and modify a customer’s cart.

1. Open Apptile in Shopify

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin.

  2. Go to Apps → Apptile.

  3. Navigate to the Integrations tab.

  4. Search for Apptile Cart Assist.

  5. Click View.

    1. If the integration is not connected yet, click Connect.

2. Enter Customer Email

On the Cart Assist dashboard:

  1. Enter the customer’s email ID for whom you want to modify the cart.

  2. Click Confirm.

3. Modify the Customer’s Cart

Once the cart details load:

  1. Click Modify Cart.

4. Update Cart Items

From the cart editor:

  1. Adjust product quantity

  2. Change the variant

  3. Add a new item using the Add Item button

5. Save Changes

After updating the cart:

  • Click Save Cart

The customer’s cart will be updated instantly.
