Apptile’s Cart Hold feature lets you set how long a customer’s cart remains active before it expires. You can also view all currently open carts and modify them directly—useful during live selling, support conversations, or when assisting customers with checkout issues.
Follow the steps below to configure cart hold time and edit customer carts.
1. Open Apptile in Shopify
Log in to your Shopify Admin.
Go to Apps → Apptile.
Open the Integrations tab.
Search for Apptile Cart Hold.
Click View.
If the integration is not connected, click Connect to enable it.
2. Set the Cart Hold Time
In the Cart Hold settings, choose the duration for how long a cart should remain active before expiring.
The selected time will apply immediately.
3. View Active Customer Carts
You’ll also see a list of open carts that have not expired yet.
Clicking on any customer’s cart will take you directly to the cart modification screen, where you can edit its contents.
4. Modify the Customer’s Cart
After selecting a customer’s cart:
Click Modify Cart to open the cart editor.
Inside the cart editor, you can:
Change product quantity
Switch variants
Add new products using Add Item
Remove items if needed
After making your updates:
Click Save Cart
The changes will be applied instantly.
5. View Products in the Cart
You can also view all products currently in the customer's cart at any time.
