Before publishing paid apps, in-app purchases, or subscriptions, Apple requires you to accept certain agreements in App Store Connect. This guide explains how to find and accept any pending agreements.

Step 3: Check for Pending Agreements

  • Look for any agreements marked as Pending under Developer Agreements

  • Check sections like:

    • Paid Applications

    • Free Applications

    • In-App Purchases

If there is a pending agreement, you’ll see a status like:

  • Action Needed

  • Pending

  • Review

Step 4: Review and Accept

  • Click the Review button next to the pending agreement

  • Carefully read through the agreement

  • Scroll to the bottom and click Accept to confirm

Step 5: Confirmation

  • Once accepted, the agreement status will change to Active

  • This confirms that the agreement has been successfully updated

Apple may ask you to complete:

  • Tax information

  • Banking details

  • Contact information

- All required fields must be completed before the agreement is accepted.

Step 6: Verify Status

Once accepted, the agreement status should change to: Active

Important Notes

  • Only the Account Holder can accept some agreements

  • Without accepting agreements, you cannot publish paid apps or IAPs

  • Apple may introduce new agreements periodically, so check regularly
