Setting Up and Using Cart Hold

Cart Hold reserves items in a customer's cart for a set duration during a live stream. This guide walks you through how to access and configure it.

Note: The Cart Hold feature must be enabled from the backend before you can use it. Please contact support@apptile.com if you'd like to enable it for your store.

Only available for PRO and above plans.

Setting the Cart Hold Timer

  1. Log in to your Apptile Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to "Integrations", and search for "Apptile Cart Hold."

  3. On the top right, locate Hold Cart For.

  4. Set the duration that items will remain reserved in a customer's cart.

Best Practices

  • Set a reasonable hold duration, long enough for customers to complete checkout, short enough to keep inventory moving

  • Monitor active carts during live streams to identify high-intent customers

  • Communicate the hold duration clearly during your stream so viewers know how long they have to check out

  • Contact support@apptile.com if you need Cart Hold enabled.
