This guide walks you through how to add and customize tiles in your app using the Apptile Dashboard.

How to Add and Edit Tiles

  1. Go to Dashboard and click on Your Design, then click Tiles.

  2. At the top of the page, select the tile category you want to use (e.g., Products, Images, Collections, Videos, etc.).

  3. Browse through the pre-configured, ready-to-use tiles. Once you find a tile that fits your needs, drag and drop it onto your app page. For example, if you select the Product category, you can drag a product carousel tile directly onto your page.

  4. Use the Content and Design Editor on the right panel to customize the tile. Here you can:

    1. Edit text

    2. Add images

    3. Insert call-to-action (CTA) buttons

    4. Adjust layout and design elements

    5. Note: Some tiles also allow you to customize font colors, CTA colors, and background colors to better match your brand identity.

  5. Click the Preview button at the top of the right navigation bar to see how the tile will appear in your app.

  6. Once you're satisfied with the changes, click Save to apply the tile to your app.

Best Practices

  • Choose tile categories that match the content you want to highlight on that page

  • Use the Preview button frequently to check how changes look before saving

  • Keep CTA button text short and action-oriented (e.g., "Shop Now", "View All")

  • Customize colors to stay consistent with your brand identity

You're Ready

Once you've added and customized your tiles, save your changes, and they'll be live in your app.
