How to Set Up Back-in-Stock Notifications

This guide walks you through how to enable back-in-stock notifications and add the Notify Me tile to your product pages in Apptile.

Devices Required

  1. Desktop – Access the Apptile Dashboard

Enable the Back-in-Stock Notification

  1. Log in to the Apptile Dashboard.

  2. Naviagte to Notifications and click on Create New.

  3. Navigate to Automated Notifications and click on Back in Stock.

  4. Edit the Title and body as per your requirement. Once done, hit Save and Publish.

Update the Product Page Design

  1. Click on Your Design from the left panel.

  2. Click Preview at the top.

  3. Select a product that is currently out of stock.

  4. Scroll to the bottom and click on the Out of Stock / Sold Out section.

  5. On the right side, click Delete and remove the existing tile.

Add the Notify Me Tile

  1. From the left panel, go to Tiles.

  2. Open the PDP category.

  3. Search for "Add to Cart with Stock Handling 01."

  4. Drag and drop this tile into the Out of Stock section.

  5. You will now see the Notify Me option for customers.

Save the Changes

  1. Click Save

  2. Click Publish to make the changes live.

Best Practices

  • Enable back-in-stock notifications for your most popular or frequently restocked products.

  • Make sure the Notify Me tile is clearly visible on the product page.

  • Restock products promptly so notifications are sent while customer interest is still high.

  • Test the flow by previewing an out-of-stock product before publishing.

You're Ready

Once set up, customers can subscribe to back-in-stock alerts and will be notified automatically when the product becomes available again.
