How to Set Up Pre-Orders

This guide walks you through how to configure and manage pre-orders for your products using the Apptile Dashboard.

Note: The Pre-Order feature must be enabled from the backend before you can use it. Please contact support@apptile.com if you'd like to enable it for your store.

How to Set Up Pre-Orders

Once the Pre-Order feature is enabled from the backend, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Apptile Dashboard.

  2. Go to Integrations.

  3. Click on "Manage" on the Pre-Order block.

  4. Select the products you want to enable for pre-orders and configure them accordingly.

Additional Options

  1. View Orders – Click View Orders to see all the pre-orders placed by customers.

  2. Pre-Authorization Duration – Set the number of days a customer's payment authorization will remain valid before the order is fulfilled.

Best Practices

  • Enable pre-orders for products with high demand or upcoming launches to capture early interest

  • Set a reasonable pre-authorization duration that aligns with your expected fulfillment timeline

  • Regularly check View Orders to monitor pre-order volume and plan inventory accordingly

  • Communicate estimated delivery dates clearly so customers know what to expect

You're Ready

Once configured, customers will be able to place pre-orders for selected products directly from your app.
