Setting Up and Using Cart Assist

Cart Assist lets you view and modify a customer's cart on their behalf. This guide walks you through how to access and use it.

Note: The Cart Assist feature must be enabled from the backend before you can use it. Please contact us at support@apptile.com, if it is not yet enabled for your store.

How to Use Cart Assist

  1. Log in to Apptile.

  2. Go to Integrations.

  3. Click on Cart Assist.

  4. In the search bar, search for the customer.

  5. Click on the customer's profile.

  6. You will now be able to view and modify the customer's cart.

    1. If you want to send a checkout link to the merchant, click on Checkout Link, to copy the link.

    2. Click on Modify Cart to start modifying the cart.

  7. Click on Add items to add new products. You can also change the variant and quantity. Hit Save Cart after the desired changes.

Best Practices

  • Use Cart Assist to help customers complete a purchase when they reach out for support during a live session

  • Confirm changes with the customer before modifying their cart

  • Reach out to your Apptile account manager if Cart Assist is not yet enabled for your store
