Creating App-Only Discounts

App-only discounts let you offer exclusive deals to customers shopping through your mobile app. This guide walks you through how to set them up.

How to Create an App-Only Discount

  1. Navigate to Integrations

    1. Log in to your Apptile Dashboard.

    2. From the left sidebar, click Integrations.

  2. Connect the Integration (if not connected)

    1. Click All Integrations.

    2. Search for App-Only Discounts.

    3. Click View.

    4. Click Connect.

  3. Open App-Only Discounts

    1. Search App Only Discounts, and click on Manage.

    2. You will see the list of existing discounts (if any).

    3. Click Create Discount.

  4. Configure Discount Details

    1. Discount Code: Enter the code that customers will apply at checkout.

    2. Once per customer: Toggle this option if you want customers to use the discount only once.

    3. Start Date / End Date: Set the validity period for the discount.

    4. Discount Type: Choose Percentage discount or Fixed amount discount, then enter the value.

  5. Set Conditions (Optional)

    1. Minimum Purchase Amount: Set the minimum order value required to apply the discount.

    2. Applies To: Choose where the discount applies:

      1. Order Subtotal: Apply discount to the entire order

      2. Specific Products: Include or exclude specific products

    3. Combine With – Choose whether the discount can be combined with:

      1. Product discounts: Apply to already discounted products

      2. Shipping discounts: Apply to the shipping cost

      3. Order discounts: Applies to the entire order total

  6. Save Discount

    1. Review your configuration.

    2. Click Save.

    3. The discount will appear in the list as Active.

Result

  • The discount applies only inside the app

  • It does not affect website checkout

  • It appears in the App-Only Discounts list

Example Use Case

Offer 10% OFF exclusively for app users:

  • Code: APP10

  • Discount: 10%

  • Applies to: Entire Order

  • Validity: 7 days

This encourages customers to download and shop through your app.

  • Use app-only discounts to drive app downloads and reward loyal mobile shoppers.

  • Promote the discount in your live streams and push notifications for maximum visibility.

  • Set clear validity periods to create urgency.

  • Monitor performance and adjust discount values based on engagement.
