Uploading your Collections image via Shopify Dashboard
There are two main ways by which you can update a collections image. Use Shopify to update the collection image on both your website and app at the same time. In case, you wish to provide mobile-only sale or add further customisation, leverage the Apptile dashboard.
Follow these steps to upload a collection’s image:
Log in to your Shopify account and go to your Shopify admin panel.
Click on "Products" from the left-hand menu.
Click on "Collections" at the top of the page.
Click on the collection you want to add an image to.
Scroll down to the "Collection image" section. And click on the "Add image" button and select the image you want to use.
Adjust the image as needed using the available options, such as cropping or repositioning the image.
Click on "Save" to save the changes to the collection. The changes will soon be reflected on your website/app.
Note: The recommended image size for collection images on Shopify is 800 x 800 pixels.
Uploading your Collections image via Apptile Dashboard
Follow these steps to add a new collections image using your apptile dashboard:
1. Go to your Apptile dashboard, click on Dashboard>Tiles.
2. Scroll down and click on the ‘Collections’ tile. A new menu will appear on the right hand side of your screen. Click on the edit sign to select the collection you want to add an image to.
3. Then click on the ‘Edit’ button to upload a new collection image. Once the image is uploaded, adjust the image using the Fit and Fill option.
4. Now, click on Save to apply the changes.
