Creating a privacy policy is an important step in ensuring that your mobile app is compliant with data protection laws and that your users understand how their personal information is collected, used, and protected. Important Note
Having a privacy policy listed on your live website is mandatory for submitting your app to the Apple and Google Play Stores. It's important to keep in mind that failing to include a privacy policy will result in your app being rejected for approval.
Learn how to create a privacy policy for your app:
Visit your Shopify dashboard.
Go to ‘Settings’ and then click on ‘Policies’.
From here, you can either enter your store policies or choose a pre-configured free template by Shopify under the ‘Create from template’ tab.
Format or edit your privacy policy using the rich text editor. Once done, review the final policy.
Click Save to add the privacy policy.
After you have created your privacy policy, it is automatically added in the footer of your checkout pages. To ensure that customers have easy access to these policies before checking out, we suggest including links to them in your store navigation.
