Things to consider:

  • Please note that there is an annual fee of $99, and we suggest setting up auto-renewal during the account creation to avoid any disruption. If you currently have an individual Apple Developer account, you can switch to a company account by following the instructions in this guide.

  • Additionally, before initiating the Apple Developer enrolment, ensure that you have registered for your D-U-N-S number, which is required for the enrolment process. Once your DUNS number is active, you can proceed with the enrolment. Learn how to get a D-U-N-S number here.

  • Your organisation needs to be a legally recognised entity. Please note that DBAs, fictitious businesses, trade names, or branches are not accepted.

Here are the instructions to create an Apple Developer account:

Step 1: Visit the Apple Play Developer Program website

Go to the Apple Developer website (https://developer.apple.com/) and click on the "Start Your Enrolment" button at the bottom.

Step 2: Sign in or Create a new Apple ID

To get started, sign in via your existing Apple ID.

If you don’t have one, click on the "Create Apple ID" button and fill out the registration form with your personal information, including your name, email address, and password.

Step 3: Agree to the terms

Read the Apple Developer Agreement carefully, and check all the boxes out. Then, click "Submit."

Step 4: Make sure to enrol as a Company/Organization

When you are prompted to select the entity type, choose Company / Organisation and click on ‘Continue’. To proceed with the process of app submission, please ensure to select the option of enrolling as an Organisation. As mentioned before, ensure that your company is recognised as a legal entity in your country.

Step 5: Enter your Organisation’s details

Fill out the ‘Tell us about your organisation’ form with your company or organisation's information. Provide the necessary documentation to verify your organisation's identity, such as a D-U-N-S number, tax ID, and legal entity information.

Step 6: Enter personal contact information

Next, you will enter your personal contact information for your Apple Developer account. Then, agree to the terms and conditions and click "Continue."

Step 7: Submit the form

Confirm all information entered is correct and select 'Submit'

Step 8: Pay the annual membership fee

Once your enrolment is approved, which might take upto 24-48 hours, you will receive another email from Apple for enrolment fee. Provide your billing information and complete the payment of the $99 annual fee. Once your payment is processed, you'll receive a confirmation email from Apple within 24 hours.

Step 9: Your account is ready

Go back to the Apple Developer website and click on "Account" again and agree to the terms and conditions and click "Continue." You can log in to your Apple Developer account and start creating and publishing your apps.

Next Steps:

Once your Apple Developer account is created, you can invite your Implementation Specialist to your account!

Considerations

Once your invitation is sent, our implementation specialist will soon get in touch with you. In case you are registered as an ‘Individual/Sole Proprietor’, you must migrate your account to a ‘Company/Organization’ so that we can move forward with your iOS submission.
