Apptile makes it easy to go live on your app, website, and Facebook pages simultaneously, whether you’re using your desktop or the Apptile Live App. Choose your preferred method and follow the steps below to create and manage your live stream.
Important: Make sure your Live Dashboard is fully set up before proceeding with these steps. If you haven’t set it up yet, please refer to our guide on Set Up Your Live Dashboard to get started.

Going Live via App
The Apptile Live App offers convenience and flexibility, allowing you to go live directly from your mobile device anytime, anywhere.
1. Create Your Live Stream:
Open the Apptile Live App on your mobile device.
Navigate to the Live section and tap on + Create Stream.
Enter the required details: Topic, Description, and Thumbnail Image.
Choose the Facebook pages you want to stream to by selecting them under the Stream To section.
2. Add Products to your Live Stream
Once your stream is created, you’ll need to add products. These products will appear during the Live Stream as an overlay for your shoppers.
You can either select products one by one or you can select an entire collection to bulk add products
3. Go Live!
Start the live stream by clicking on Join as Host.
During the stream, you can easily manage the products by tapping on the Shop icon.

Going Live via Desktop
Using the desktop for going live provides more control and advanced features for a richer live streaming experience.
1. Set Up and Schedule Your Stream
Log in to the Apptile Live Dashboard using your credentials.
Click on + Create Stream in the Live Dashboard.
Enter your Topic, Description, and Thumbnail Image.
(Optional) Select the Facebook pages you want to stream to under the Stream To section.
Schedule your stream by choosing a date and time.
2. Go Live via Desktop!
After creating the stream, it will appear under Upcoming Streams in your Live Dashboard. Click on Join as Host to begin your live session.
Once you’re live, you can switch products from the left panel, view a preview of the live stream in the center panel, and monitor and respond to real-time comments in the right panel.
Advantages of Going Live via Desktop:
Scheduled Notifications: When you schedule a stream, a live widget is enabled on your app, allowing users to set reminders.
Product Variant Selection: Only available via desktop, you can select specific product variants to showcase.
4. Moderator Setup
A team member can join the stream as a Moderator from the Live Dashboard, offering additional control over the stream.
Moderators can manage products, select variants, and respond to comments.
Best Practices: For maximum efficiency, create your stream from the Desktop Live Dashboard, join as a Host from the Mobile App, and have a team member join as a Moderator from the Desktop if possible.
